Two weeks late, but here we are.
A busy first week after our stay in France this summer. I struggled to get going.
This week I
- Started with a braindump to get an overview of all the things going on.
- Took a bus ride with Y into the city to find a present for E’s birthday.
- Had a meeting with my psychologist about my burnout.
- Had the weekly client meetings
- Learned that a bid I had submitted for a project was selected.
- Went to our car dealer for the next installment of getting our car fixed. This time it was more properly fixed, unlike before in France. Still don’t trust it much though.
- Did the administrative things needed to put two new colleagues on the payroll
- Prepared the laptops for both new colleagues, accounts, software etc.
- Spent a day at the office, handing over the laptop to one of our new team members.
- Discussed the planning for the interprovincial ethics committee the coming weeks
- Discussed a study trip for representatives from the geo-information sector envisioned for next year.
- Read the draft 2025 working program for EU ICT standardisation to provide feedback, as well as the draft Digital Europe Program for 2025 for feedback
- Discussed a draft memo for a client
- Received word that a second proposal I had submitted before our summer trip was also accepted.
- With E and family celebrated E’s birthday
- Finally got around to fixing my VPS and Mastodon instances.
