It was an ok week. I got up early most days, but didn’t use that time, for other than some shallow feed reading.

  • Talked to a client on how we see our work develop in the coming months
  • Landed a new project, or rather an extension of an existing one, until the end of the year
  • Participated in an online retirement party
  • Did some interviews with two European meteorological instutions
  • Worked 2 days on digital transformation for a province
  • Bought a wireless in-ear headset
  • Talked to our company’s accountant
  • Spent an afternoon working on Open State Foundation in Amsterdam, and talked to a former FabLab colleague about new funding options for this NGO
  • Did part of the June invoicing
  • Looked at my plans for Q3, and the 12 weeks to get there
  • Read 3 non-fiction books, which is I think the first time outside of a summer vacation, in many years. Struggling still with the next step of processing what I read
  • In my quest to become better at such processing, read more about note taking systems like Zettelkasten, note taking as a deliberate practice. Thought more about method and process, rather than looking at tools
  • Had lunch in town with the three of us for the first time since lock-down started mid-March
