Chris Aldrich started accepting Refbacks after reading Why refbacks still matter by Gokberk Yaltirakli. Referer spam is however still very much alive. When I read Gokberk’s post, I looked at my server logs: the referrer log is still all about pills etc. Thousands of spammy Gravatar profiles jump out.

About

Blog Interdependent Thoughts maintained since 2002 by Ton Zijlstra.
European citizen in a networked world. Based in the Netherlands, living in Europe, working globally. There are no Others. There is just me and many of you.

I write about how our digital and networked world changes how we work, learn, decide and organize. I explore the tools and strategies that help us navigate the networked world. I am passionate about increasing people's ability to act (knowledge), and their ability to change (learning). Key-words: open data, open government, fablabs, making, complexity, networked agency, networked learning, ethics by design.

    • Down The Research Rabbithole? Bookmarked Research Rabbit Research Rabbit is a tool that, when provided with some academic paper you already are familiar with, can suggest other related material as well as provide that material. • Waypath Added I added Waypath to the posts on the front page of this blog. After trying using the Waypath Plugin for MT (download) I wasn’t happy with how the Waypath box under each post made the blog look more chaotic. So I decided to link to their search tool instead. Whenever a you follow the link […]
