Zeche Zollverein
Zeche Zollverein is a former coal mine in Essen, Germany. It is a UNESCO world cultural heritage site, as the mine is an example of Bauhaus architecture. It is now an international centre for design. This is a photo of the staircase by architect Rem Koolhaas, placed in the old coal washing plant that now houses a museum.

Swans and Bicycles
Two bicycles and what looks like a shopping cart dumped in the water near Haarlem Spaarnwoude railway station. Two swans seem to be looking for what else might be hidden under the surface.
