A week that saw three days that I actually felt were good working days. I did things, enjoyed doing them and didn’t feel stressed. Afterwards I should have allocated time to rest, but didn’t and paid for it with a messy day that had my shoulders lock. I’m slowly improving but the positive habits I identified aren’t routine or automated yet.
This week I
- Worked on the guidelines for the Data Governance Act on assignment for the Ministry for the Interior.
- Had a conversation with the European Commission about the way the Data Governance Act is being implemented in various Member States, and what the EC thinks are aspects to keep in mind during implementation.
- Had the last session of the PKM training I’ve been taking part in since mid October.
- Had a session with the intergovernmental data strategy team about influencing various EU level exchanges that have impact on this Dutch program.
- Spent time thinking about my role in the EU normalisation effort for the Data Act and Data Governance Act.
- Had a session withe the JRC as part of the MoU my client has with them. Always a pleasure working with them.
- Wrote multiple project descriptions and blog posts for our company website.
- Spent a day at the office.
- Had the weekly client meetings.
- Had a session with the team for one of my projects to work together.
- Did two sessions with our team to create a systems convening landscape sketch for two domains we’re active in.
- Went out for a walk. Something I do rarely, but I needed to get out for a bit. Walked past a house that burnt down earlier this week. It looked awful.
- Wrote a project proposal and sent it to the prospective client.
- Tool Y to her singing lesson
- Helped Y build her Sinterklaas surprise gift. At the cost of not having started on my own. So next week there will be late evenings.
- Installed christmas lights in the garden and apple tree, at the request of Y
- Enjoyed non-fiction reading.
May I ask which PKM training did you had? And you will recommended?
It was a German language course, https://cogneon.de/event/lernreise-personal-knowledge-excellence/
I will blog my reflections later this week, at least that’s the plan (and the course’s final assingment).
