E and I are thinking about organising a few small meet-ups (in person or on-line) to together explore and play with the various AI tools that have popped up and the underlying technology. To better understand the technology, both in terms of possibilities as well as limitations and pitfalls. It’s one thing to have a more or less decent theoretical grasp of it or to merely discuss it in terms of examples and hypotheticals, but another to also tinker with it for yourself, see what you can make, and experience the friction points firsthand. Doing so in a small group with professional or network peers is something we’ve enjoyed in the past.
