Years ago my old university invested a lot of money in a new house style including new fonts. Last night I dreamt having lunch at my old university with a group. The cashier where I paid for my food asked me if I had already previously paid a license for the font they used on the receipt, otherwise there would be a surcharge for the use of the font. I declined a receipt, and entered into a discussion with the cashier how legally ridiculous it was that a reader should obtain a license to read text in the font.
@ton This is to inform you that I had that same dream three nights ago. Your having the same dream is a clear violation of the Berne Convention on dream copyright. My attorneys will be in touch shortly.
@dweinberger Depending on the fonts used I may or may not be in a position to legally read your attorneys’ correspondence.
