Saw the moon today, early evening 17:30, the sky towards the horizon not dark yet but a darkening deep blue, higher up in the sky full dark. The moon, a right side waxing crescent, brightly lit. And then the rest of the moon visible as a black circle in a dark blue band of sky not quite as black yet. It was beautiful, not sure if I ever noticed it like that before, watched it for a while with our 5yr old while picking her up from after school day care. Attempts to find similar images on Flickr failed. No pics, so it didn’t happen 😉

  1. It’s marvellous when we get to appreciate the beauty around us. Maybe that’s when art gets to be called to fill the amazing void of what we experience 🙂
