I use webmention to link to my own pages and posts. A setting in the wordpress plugin is available for it. Currently not shown in a very useful way yet, but it creates the bidirectionality at least.

Another option is to use webmentions, as mentioned by Ton Zijlstra.
In some sense it’s the same algorithm as I mentioned before 🙂
