A beautiful day by the lake….

Or rather a beautiful day at Dutch Design Week, which had this immersive set-up, relaxing at a projected shore of a lake.

About

Blog Interdependent Thoughts maintained since 2002 by Ton Zijlstra.
European citizen in a networked world. Based in the Netherlands, living in Europe, working globally. There are no Others. There is just me and many of you.

I write about how our digital and networked world changes how we work, learn, decide and organize. I explore the tools and strategies that help us navigate the networked world. I am passionate about increasing people's ability to act (knowledge), and their ability to change (learning). Key-words: open data, open government, fablabs, making, complexity, networked agency, networked learning, ethics by design.

Several people in my network similarly have opened parts of their weekly schedule for others to be able to plan a conversation with them. Using a tool like […]

    • iA Writer Now Supports Micropub iA Writer has support for Micropub and IndieAuth now. That sounds interesting, as it would allow me to write locally, and publish to several of my sites, both online and on my local system. Getting an error though.

    • Presenting Presence in Video Calls Two things to read and think about on presenting and being present in video talks and webinars. One by Matt Web, Rethinking Video Talks, (found via Peter Rukavina), on how his usual careful design of switching between slides and himself, creating rhythm and building up sequences. One by Bryan Alexander on how to ensure webinars […]

    • The DisInfo Wars – A taxonomy of information warfare by @h0d3r Hossein Derakhshan makes an important effort to find more precise language to describe misinformation (or rather mis- dis- and mal- information). In this Medium article, he takes a closer look at the different combinations of actors and targets, along the lines of state, non-state entities and the public. Table by Hossein Derakhshan, from article DisInfo […]
