This little creature was walking across the living room last night. It’s hind part raised like a scorpion.
Turns out it is a Devil’s coach horse beetle. In Dutch it’s called a stinking short shielded beetle, and the Latin name points to its capacity to make a stink when threatened as well. Caught in a glass and released it into the garden.
