A unhurried week.

Spent Monday through Wednesday on the open data project for the Province of Overijssel, and Thursday working with our new intern on what I mentally dubbed ‘open data ethics’. Friday as usual I spent with our daughter.

In between I’ve read the final book of the Binti trilogy, by Nnedi Okorafor. I enjoyed all three books a lot. Also read the German novel Ellbogen by Fatma Aydemir, a raw story about identity against the rough backdrop of both Berlin and Istanbul, and the SF novel Children of Time where spiders develop cognition, by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Also tried to figure out how to script a y/n, multiple choice style conversation in the terminal window, without much luck.
