Last September I bookmarked an entry by David Weinberger on how a master narrative shapes our perception of the world. Deliberately stepping out of that master narrative usually is a time and energy consuming thing to do. It seems to me out of the box thinking is required to recognize the master narrative you’re in, and stepping out of the master narrative then can be viewed out of the box doing.
Today David brings us a link to a text giving two examples of what it takes to avoid this master narrative. Interesting read.
