This image shows how oil-prices developed in the past 6 years.
Since early 1999 when the oil price was about 10$ per barrel, it went to $44 dollars today.
That is a quadrupling in 5 years! Seems like the race is already on…
The dip you see in the price in this graph, I think is the entrance of Russian oil on the market forcing prices down.
