After having eaten fresh asparagus 3 times in the past week, it only seems fitting to publish a picture of an asparagus field. It used to be that asparagus was only grown in Limburg, the most southern region of our country. This was taken in Groningen, the most northern region. Climate change? Industrial farming? Or simply diversification in crops?
