Winner of the British SF Award. In Century Rain, earth is one big archeological dig after the Nanocaust. An unstable alien transit system leads to a strange discovery: mid-twentieth century earth, but not quite the same as ours. In this version history has developed a bit differently. A strange mixture of hard SF, time-travel/alternate history, noir romance and interstellar adventure.
